Sick of Band-Aid Fixes?
Pipe Relining is the Last Drain Repair You’ll Need

Hunter Eco Plumbing provides professional pipe relining throughout Taree and the Manning Valley, offering an alternative to digging up damaged underground drainage.

Pipe relining is particularly useful where pipes run beneath established gardens, concrete, driveways or structures. After inspecting and preparing the drainage, we install a durable liner inside the existing pipe to repair damaged sections while minimising disturbance to the surrounding property.

What is Pipe Relining?

Traditional pipe repairs meant breaking up concrete, digging through gardens, or tearing up driveways to reach the damaged section. Pipe relining changes that entirely.

Using a trenchless process, we repair cracked, broken, or root-affected pipes from the inside out — inserting a structural resin liner into the existing pipework and curing it in place. The result is a seamless, hardened pipe within a pipe, restored to full function without significant excavation.

It’s a practical solution wherever access is restricted, disruption needs to be kept to a minimum, or protecting underground assets and surrounding infrastructure is a priority.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. Expansive black soil can shift as moisture conditions change, which may place stress on underground pipework and contribute to cracks, movement, or recurring drainage issues.

Pipe relining using the Brawoliner system is designed as a long-term repair solution, typically expected to last up to 50 years. Soil conditions and ground movement in your area can impact the longevity of underground pipes — our team will always factor in site-specific conditions and make sure you have the information you need before proceeding.

In most cases, no. The primary advantage of pipe relining is that the repair happens internally, without full excavation. In some situations — where there’s no existing access point or a section of pipe has fully collapsed — limited dig-in work may be required. We’ll assess this during the CCTV inspection and advise you before starting.

The best way to confirm suitability is with a CCTV drain inspection. We assess the condition, location, and type of damage before recommending the right solution. Not every pipe is a candidate for relining — if it’s not suitable, we’ll tell you straight.

High-pressure jetting clears a blockage, but it doesn’t fix the underlying damage. Tree roots will continue growing back into cracked or broken pipes until the entry point is repaired. For pipes that are cracked or displaced, repeated jetting can actually accelerate deterioration — and if the pipe collapses entirely, relining is no longer an option. At that stage, the only solution is excavation, which may mean cutting through a concrete slab, driveway, or bathroom floor. Addressing the problem with relining early is almost always the less disruptive and less expensive path.

Yes. We can reline pipes of various shapes and sizes, including gully traps and floor waste connections.

Brawoliner is widely considered one the highest-quality and best-performing pipe relining systems in the world, particularly for challenging residential and commercial repairs. It is frequently cited as the industry benchmark for flexibility and durability, especially when navigating multiple bends (up to 90 degrees) and tapers

It is crucial to ensure the installer is certified to install Brawoliner correctly, as the quality of the installation is just as important as the material itself
