When recurring drainage blockages became an issue at Denman Public School, the NSW Department of Education called on Hunter Eco Plumbing to do a pipe reline. For a school that has been part of the local community since 1883 and at the current location since 1958, this was about more than fixing a pipe problem. The school’s aging terracotta pipework deteriorated over time, along with battling reactive black soil movement, this lead to repeated blockages. Instead of excavation, Hunter Eco Plumbing delivered a trenchless pipe relining solution that restored the damaged line from the inside. We installed a continuous reline sleeve from manhole to manhole, sealing the failing pipework internally.
This includes junction arms, and with robotic cutting technology to reinstate branch lines making sure the drainage system was repaired properly without tearing up the school grounds above.
